With experience at a private practice, South Boston community health center, and a corporate dental office as well as clinical teaching at Boston University Dental School, Dr. Yoon wanted to create a welcoming and affordable dental office coupled with excellent dental care. Merrimack River Dentistry began in 2014 to make this vision reality.

We strive to make your visit enjoyable and efficient. We continue to improve our skills with continuing education classes and major dental conferences.

We offer comprehensive dental care for the entire family. Whether you just need regular cleanings or implants, we will take care of your dental health. Specifically, our services include bridges, crowns, dentures, extractions, cavity fillings, implants, night guards, teeth whitening, veneer, and many other important procedures. We also partner with other specialist offices (such as endodontist, periodontist, and oral surgeons) so that all your needs can be met.
Dr. Yoon graduated from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN with major in Fine Arts, and earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine. She believes in the artistry of dentistry intertwined with solid clinical treatment planning to brighten and enhance one's health, smile, and life. Dr. Yoon is an avid student of the profession and currently pursuing her Fellowship/Masters degree within the Academy of General Dentistry. She is also abreast of current dentistry and research as a member of the American Dental Association, the Massachusetts Dental Society, and the Merrimack Valley District Dental Society. Dr. Yoon enjoys reading and spending time with her family of five.
All of our staff attend annual Yankee Dental Congress to continue honing our skills. We also get certified annually with HIPAA, CPR, OSHA trainings.

There is free 2-hr street parking on Merrimack St. In addition, part of the municipal parking lot (51 Merrimack St
Haverhill, MA 01830) located one block away is free for 2 hours as well.
Each person is given one-hour for the appointment. Usually it will be shorter than that but we set it for one hour to make sure we do not rush through and give each patient ample time to address any dental health concerns.
We ask you to come 15 minutes earlier than the appointmen to fill out paperworks. You will be greeted warmly by our friendly front desk staff. We respectfully ask each patient to wear a mask due to health regulations. You will meet Dr. Sarah Yoon.
Most likely we do! We accept many dental insurances. For routine care such as teeth cleaning, your insurance may cover the full cost so that there is no payment at the time of service. Give us a quick text or phone call! We can confirm your insurance as well as your eligibility and allowance.
